Michael Beasley is Mad at the Basketball Gremlins
By The Whistle on Thu, January 17, 2013

Michael Beasley is by no means a bad free-throw shooter; he's hit over 75% of his foul shots over the course of his five-year NBA career.

But Beasley has struggled a bit more than usual this season and was particularly frustrated by a three-for-six effort from the foul line against Oklahoma City on Monday.  After one of the misses, Beasley glared angrily at the hoop, which he later explained was because he "had to scare the gremlins away.  Those gremlins are always messing with me."

Say what?  Believe it or not, Beasley has expressed his anger at basket "gremlins" before, so maybe he actually thinks they exist.

The best part: this may not even be Beasley's best quote of the season.  Earlier this year, Beasley explained that he'd be willing "to sit in a trash can" if it would help Phoenix win.
