Iowa Baseball House Has Ghosts
By The Whistle on Mon, December 17, 2012

The members of the Iowa Hawkeyes baseball team have a problem - there are underwear-stealing ghosts living in their house.

Five ballplayers and a member of the school's hockey team are living together this year and they've been experiencing some unexplainable phenomena.

It starts off small: televisions switching stations on their own, chairs moving around the kitchen, that kind of thing.

Then some of the players started seeing ghosts and a little girl in the bedroom.

And lately, some of the players' girlfriends have slept over and awoken to find their underwear

missing, but their pants still on.

This isn't the first athlete-ghost story of the year - Jazz F Enes Kanter thinks his house is haunted - but after learning that their residence used to be a funeral home, the Hawkeyes hired an Iowa Paranormal Activity Support Team to do some investigating and the news wasn't good. The Support Team found two spirits living in the house:

"One, an older, grandfatherly figure — whom the guys have named 'Tim' — roams the halls and rooms of the three-story house. Another, a younger girl, stays put in one particular room of the house."

Luckily, the ghosts seem focused on redecorating and appear harmless. Do you believe the story? Let us know @TheWhistle!
